The festive season is upon us! I don't know about you but I always start to plan my Christmas crafts and gift wrapping in July! November is also my favourite time of year as I love looking at all the Christmas magazines!
This year The Australian Women's Weekly published a Christmas Ideas special issue.
In this issue you will find lots of great festive recipes, Christmas gift wrapping and decorating ideas.
Included in this issue is 6 of my very own DIY projects that I hope will inspire you to get Christmas crafting with little ones.
You will find my DIY projects in the 'Children fun craft' section on page. 163.
This 6 page feature also includes my styling and photography.
The issue is available to buy in stores now.
So have fun making clay ornaments, a gold and glittery table centerpiece, Japanese fabric gift wrapping, Piñata bonbons and more!
My 'Plush Tree Decorations' DIY project also featured in the November issue of The Australian's Women's Weekly too.
Today, October 9th is World Mail Day! So happy mail days to you all!! Why not dedicate a little time today to put pen to paper, post a postcard, write a letter and send pretty decorated mail art to a pen pal, friend or loved one. To celebrate the art of analogue correspondence I would love to share with you some of my recent outgoing mail.
On the subject of snail mail. I still have a few copies left of my 'Happy Mail Day' zine in online shop. It is filled with many ideas on how to decorate envelopes and make sweet mail art kits. Check it out here.
How will you celebrate World Mail Day? Would love to know.
Hello! Apologies for my absence forthe last couple of months. I promise I have a good excuse! I have been working on some new exciting creative projects that I will be sharing with you soon.
In between my projects as you can see via my Instagram, I have been sending out lots of snail mail around the globe. Some to pen pals and other 'happy mail' to customers who have purchased my zines and stationery kits! This washi tape, heart corsage brooch has been posted out to a fan of Aussie TV show Neighbours. A little nod to iconic 80s couple Scott and Charlene (aka Kylie Minogue).
Hiya! Today I am sharing a few snaps (sorry about the images did not take my SLR camera on the day) of my stall at the Sydney Museum of Contemporary Art Zine Fair that was held last Sunday, May 25th. What an amazing day it was!! A huge thumbs up to the MCA crew for hosting such an amazing event. BIG thank you to those who popped by and said hi at my stall or who bought one of my zines! Hope you are all enjoying them. Also met and made a few new lovely pals who were fellow zine stall holders.
This has been a big highlight of my year (well the time I patted a baby quokka is right up there too). There were so many lovely people who came through the zine fair doors - many thanks for your sweet and supportive compliments about my work.
Before the big day, I also very much enjoyed designing the look and layout of my stall, making all the little zine fixtures and price signs. Can you spot the paper Harajuku Takeshita-Dori entrance?
Introducing my new publication - Happy Mail Day zine!!
As you know from my many posts I LOVE mail art and posting snail mail to pen pals and friends across the globe. So it was only natural that I dedicate a whole publication to 'Happy mail days'!
Inside you will find ideas about decorating your mail, creating themed kits, handmade stationery and papercraft Diys and more!
I am thrilled to say that I will be launching my 'Happy Mail Day' zine this Sunday (May 25th) at the MCA zine fair! An event that is part of the Annual Sydney Writers Festival. As a fellow zine maker and reader I have attended the MCA Zine fair event for the past few years. But for the first time this year I decided to apply for a stall and I was so delighted when I was accepted and given a place in this years fair.
So please do come and say hi if you do decide to come and check it out - would love to see and meet you.
Admission to the MCA Zine Fair is free and is open from 11am-4pm.

Add a touch of romantic, decorative charm to a wedding or cute nook in your home with this bunting idea.
Fold paper doilies in half over twine. Place love themed Printic photos over the doilies and attach with a little wooden peg. Ooh la la!

I had a craft party and my cat, Salem was invited!!
Decorate Printic snaps of your furry friends with washi tape, craft punched shapes.
Journal of Nom Noms
Record your fave recipes by starting a cooking journal.
Collage your food Printic prints in a notebook, jotting down the recipe alongside them. Makes for a cute visual...feast!
celebrate I styled up this little love letter themed shoot for the day. Making
